PanSpanMud Pie Serveware
Which Mud Pie serveware pick is right for my table, or should I choose a more versatile serving set?
For most hosts, I’d choose the DELLING set: its three platter sizes cover everything from small bites to a big shared spread. The Mud Pie cranberry dish is the charming choice when you want a specifically festive, witty touch, while the MIKIGEY bowls suit everyday serving with farmhouse style. Here’s how to match the remaining options to your gatherings, storage, and serving style.
#1 · DELLING
DELLING Large Serving Platter Set of 3, 16/14/12 Inch Porcelain Serving Trays for Party - White Ceramic Rectangular Platters for Entertaining, Appetizer Fruit Tray for Gethering Shower Dinner
Choose these three rectangular platters if you host varied group sizes and want a useful range from small snacks to a large roast or appetizer spread. Their plain white look is easy to mix with other dishes, and they’re oven-, microwave-, dishwasher-, and freezer-safe.
#2 · MIKIGEY
Ceramic Serving Bowls Set of 2, Serving Platters for Entertaining, Stripes | 11.8 &13.4 Inch Oval Serving Dishes for Dinner, Salad, Pasta, Fruit, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe
Choose this pair if you want two oval dishes for everyday salads, pasta, fruit, or shared sides, with an embossed farmhouse look that still feels at home on a party table. They’re microwave-, oven-, and dishwasher-friendly, and the nesting design helps keep storage tidy.
#3 · famiware
famiware Serving Platters Set of 3 Sizes - Oval, Vanilla White | 15.59"/14.3"/12.9" Fine Stoneware Serving Trays for Party, Entertaining for Food, Turkey, Cheese, Microwave Dishwasher Safe
Choose these three oval platters if you like a softer, rippled look and want serving pieces for both daily meals and celebrations. The different sizes make it easy to separate foods or reserve one platter for a smaller course.
#4 · MALACASA
MALACASA 3 Tier Serving Trays, White Porcelain Serving Platters, 12 Inch | Tiered Serving Stand for Party, Fruit Tray, Trays for Serving Food, Dessert Stand with Collapsible Sturdier Metal Rack
Choose this tiered stand when table or buffet space is at a premium and you want desserts or appetizers displayed vertically. It disassembles and folds for storage, so it suits occasional entertaining as well as a regular tea or snack table.
#5 · Mud Pie
Mud Pie Can-Berry Ceramic Cranberry Serving Dish, Includes Spatula | Holds 1 Can Cranberries, Holiday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Novelty Serveware, White, Cranberry Dish Server
Choose this Mud Pie dish for canned cranberry sauce and a playful Thanksgiving or Christmas table. It holds one can of cranberries and comes with a spatula, making it a focused seasonal piece rather than an all-purpose serving dish.
Do you want one memorable seasonal piece or serving dishes you’ll use all year?
For a small, distinctive holiday gift or a playful cranberry-sauce presentation, take the Mud Pie dish. For a piece that earns cupboard space beyond one meal, the DELLING set is the more flexible choice: three platter sizes handle very different foods and gatherings.
Would you rather spread food out or build a display upward?
For a buffet where table space is tight, the MALACASA stand lifts desserts and appetizers into a three-level display. For food that needs room to spread out—such as a roast, fruit, or a generous appetizer assortment—choose DELLING. The MIKIGEY pair is a good middle ground for shared sides when you prefer oval bowls over a formal display.
How much space do you have for storage?
The MIKIGEY dishes nest, and the MALACASA rack collapses after use, so those are the easier choices when cabinet space is limited. A set of three platters gives you more serving flexibility, but plan a stable spot to store and stack the pieces. Ceramic serves best when it has a little breathing room; avoid letting edges knock together in a crowded cupboard.

Questions buyers ask
Which of these makes the best hostess gift?
For someone who enjoys playful holiday tableware, the cranberry dish is the most distinctive gift and includes its own spatula. For a gift with broader everyday use, I’d choose the MIKIGEY pair or one of the three-piece platter sets; their styles are easy to work into an existing table.
Do ceramic serving dishes chip easily?
Ceramic can chip when pieces bang against each other or a hard sink, especially around the edges. Store platters with space between them, lower them gently into the sink, and avoid stacking a heavier dish on an unstable pile.
Which pieces are dishwasher- and microwave-safe?
The MIKIGEY dishes, DELLING platters, famiware platters, and MALACASA trays are listed as dishwasher-safe; those four options are also listed as microwave-safe. Check the care directions for any serving piece before using it in an appliance, and hand-wash when you want to be gentler with a decorative finish.
Can I use these as a divided taco-bar server?
No pick here is a divided taco server or a chip-and-dip set, and none is football-themed. The Mud Pie piece is for cranberry sauce; use one of the flat platters for chips and a separate bowl for dip. The platters can hold toppings in separate areas, but you’ll need individual bowls if you want guests to choose from distinct toppings without mixing them.
Is the Mud Pie cranberry dish useful beyond the holidays?
Its best job is presenting cranberry sauce: it holds one can and includes a spatula for serving. I’d treat it as a seasonal accent, not the main serving dish for a general appetizer or side.
