Calphalon Square Griddle
Which square griddle should I choose for easier breakfasts and grilled sandwiches?
I’d choose the Calphalon Premier Ceramic 11-inch Square Griddle if you want the closest match: a breakfast pan with a ceramic nonstick surface and a hard-anodized aluminum body. For a pan that explicitly prioritizes warp resistance and broad oven use, the All-Clad HA1 is my alternative. All five are compact 11-inch-style stovetop griddles, so they can speed up pancakes and sandwiches without the storage and counter space of an electric griddle. The useful difference is how you cook and care for the coating—not a promise that every corner will heat exactly like the center.

#1 · Calphalon
Calphalon® Premier Ceramic Nonstick 11" Square Griddle, Midnight Blue
Choose this if you want a Calphalon square griddle for pancakes, eggs or grilled cheese. Its ceramic nonstick coating is made without PFAS, and the hard-anodized aluminum construction is intended to reduce hotspots; hand washing is the gentler everyday choice.

#2 · All-Clad
All-Clad HA1® Expert Nonstick , 11" Griddle Pan | Versatile griddle pan for variety of meals,Scratch-Resistant Exterior, Warp Resistant, Dishwasher safe, Oven Safe up to 500°F
Choose the All-Clad if warp resistance and oven flexibility matter most. Its low walls make flipping easier, and it is oven safe up to 500°F; use silicone, nylon or wooden utensils to preserve its PTFE nonstick coating.

#3 · Cuisinart
Cuisinart Chef's Classic™ Nonstick Classic Hard Anodized 11" Square Griddle
Choose the Cuisinart if you want a ceramic-coated griddle that is oven safe to 500°F and has a stated lifetime warranty. Its stainless steel Cool Grip handle is designed to stay cool on the stovetop, while hand washing is recommended.

#4 · OXO
OXO Enhanced 11" Griddle Pan, PFAS-Free Ceramic Nonstick, Durable Hard Anodized Cookware, Scratch Resistant, Stainless Steel Handle, Good Grips, Dishwasher Safe, Oven safe, Black
Choose the OXO if comfortable handling and a hard-anodized body are priorities. It has a stainless steel handle and a ceramic nonstick surface; hand washing and nonmetal utensils are sensible habits for keeping any coated pan in good shape.

#5 · Blue Diamond
Blue Diamond 11" Diamond Infused Ceramic Nonstick Square Griddle Pan, Blue | PFAS-Free Ceramic Nonstick, Dishwasher & Oven Safe, Stay Cool Handle, Durable Metal Utensil Safe, Pancake Pan
Choose the Blue Diamond if you want a ceramic griddle with a higher stated oven and broiler limit, and you value dishwasher-safe cleanup. It is not for induction cooktops, and gentler hand washing still helps protect the cooking surface.
Will an 11-inch square griddle feed everyone at once?
It gives you more useful layout than a typical round skillet, but it is still a compact pan, not a family-size electric griddle. Four small pancakes can fit; four full-size sandwiches are a tight arrangement, especially when you need room to turn them. I’d pick the Calphalon Premier for regular breakfast cooking, and plan on cooking in batches when everyone wants a full sandwich.
How do I avoid cold corners or a warped pan on a glass stove?
A square pan can extend beyond a round burner, so its corners may heat more slowly than the center; that is a shape-and-burner mismatch, not proof of a defect. Use a burner close to the pan’s footprint, preheat gradually over medium or medium-low heat, and give the corners time to catch up. Avoid heating the pan empty on high or shocking it with cold water while hot. If warp resistance is your deciding factor, the All-Clad is the clearest choice here.
Which coating and care routine suit my cooking?
For a ceramic-coated option, the Calphalon, Cuisinart, OXO and Blue Diamond are the choices; the All-Clad uses PTFE nonstick. Calphalon identifies its surface as metal-utensil-safe, but I’d still use a silicone or wooden turner and wash by hand to be kinder to the coating. Dishwasher-safe does not mean dishwasher-cleaning is the gentlest routine, particularly when you want the pan to stay easy-release.
Do I need to check cooktop compatibility?
Yes if you cook on induction: the All-Clad and Blue Diamond explicitly exclude it. Hard-anodized aluminum by itself does not make a pan induction-ready, so confirm compatibility for the exact Calphalon, Cuisinart or OXO model before choosing it for an induction hob. On electric coil or glass, use a burner that suits the pan and avoid dragging it across the surface.

Which one is yours
Calphalon: You want the closest match to a Calphalon square griddle, with ceramic nonstick and a hard-anodized aluminum body.

Cuisinart: You want ceramic nonstick, a stovetop handle designed to stay cool, and the stated lifetime warranty.
OXO: A stainless steel handle and hard-anodized construction are your main priorities.
Blue Diamond: You want ceramic nonstick and the higher stated oven and broiler limit, and do not use induction.

Questions buyers ask
Will a square griddle have cold corners on a round burner?
It can; rotate the pan if one area cooks noticeably faster.
How do I keep a flat griddle from warping?
To reduce bending during storage, keep the pan flat and avoid stacking heavy cookware on it.
Can four slices of bread fit on an 11-inch square griddle?
Measure a slice against the cooking surface and leave room for your spatula; if four slices crowd one another, cook fewer at a time.
Is an 11-inch square griddle easy to flip pancakes on?
Yes—the broad, low-sided format leaves room to slide a spatula under pancakes without working around the high sides of a typical skillet. Keep pancake sizes modest and leave space between them so you can turn each one cleanly.
Are these griddles suitable for induction?
The All-Clad and Blue Diamond are not suitable for induction. For the other three, check the exact model’s compatibility before buying for an induction cooktop; aluminum construction alone does not guarantee induction use.
How long will a nonstick griddle coating last?
There is no dependable lifespan that applies to every cook or routine. Moderate heat, hand washing, soft utensils and careful storage help limit wear; overheating, abrasive cleaning and stacking pans without protection can shorten the useful life of a coating.
